BEVERLY HILLS, CA (December 12, 2025) – This Friday, the Babylist Beverly Hills Showroom became a haven of calm as Momcozy hosted its expert-led event, “Wrapped in Hugs: A Momcozy Expert Event for a Cozy Pregnancy & Birth.” In collaboration with artist Christopher David Ryan (CDR) and “BIG HUGS” campaign, the event championed the message that the holiday season—and early motherhood—is not about flawless scenes, but about authentic connection and comfort.
Headlined by Clinical Psychologist Dr. Jill Campbell, the session offered expectant mothers a blend of scientific labor preparation and emotional resilience strategies. Dr. Campbell challenged the pressures of the "perfect" holiday and pregnancy, urging attendees to embrace the concept of the "good enough" parent.
Redefining Expectations for a Cozier Holiday Addressing the "bliss myth" often associated with pregnancy and the holidays, Dr. Campbell emphasized that lowering standards is actually beneficial for family well-being.
“There's always going to be this idealized image in your head of this perfect mom who knows how to do everything, and then there's going to be the reality of the mom or parent that you are, and that is going to be good enough ,” Dr. Campbell shared. “Babies and children actually benefit more from imperfect parents. If you do everything perfectly for them... that would be a tremendous amount of pressure to put on a child.”
Practical Tools for Labor and Daily Calm Beyond emotional support, the event delivered on its promise of "Scientific Pregnancy and Birth Preparation." Dr. Campbell introduced sensory grounding techniques designed to help mothers navigate anxiety during labor or stressful parenting moments.
“If anyone's ever feeling really overwhelmed or anxious... doing something called 5-4-3-2-1 [helps] ,” explained Dr. Campbell, guiding the audience through the method. “Take five things that you see... four things that you can hear... three things you can touch... two things you could smell, and one thing you can taste. If you do that, it will reset your nervous system and make you handle the stress much better.”

Innovations in Physical Comfort Complementing the psychological advice, Momcozy unveiled its latest maternity innovations tailored to support the physical changes discussed by Dr. Campbell. Guests tested the Momcozy Dreamlign Pregnancy Pillow for sleep posture, the Ergonest Belly Support Band for relief, and the DreamSync Tech™ Smart Baby Sound Machine for creating a restful environment.
The event also featured the exclusive Momcozy × BIG HUGS 14 Days of Cozy Christmas Gift Set, a curated collection designed to offer a "sensory hug" to new moms.
