August is World Breastfeeding Awareness Month
August is World Breastfeeding Awareness Month. It is a period when the world celebrates breastfeeding, encouraging more women to breastfeed for overall better child development.
To celebrate this meaningful month, Momcozy partnered with photographer Alicia Samone for the annual gASP Breastfeeding photoshoot which took place on August 6th in East Valley and Ashley Castle, Arizona. The event, which happened during World Breastfeeding Week and National Breastfeeding Awareness Month, was organized to help raise awareness and normalize breastfeeding with moms.
Breastfeeding is not as easy as usually talking, it’s hard, really really hard!
When you are waking at night with drenched tops, when you are being driven crazy with engorged breasts at no complete emptying by your baby, when you are tortured by pain from clogged ducts, these excruciating experiences can only be gone through all by yourselves, just like a smothering moan buried beneath the normal you because nobody will truly understand.
